Если вы читали предыдущие романы Кена Фоллетта из цикла про Кингсбридж, то просто проходите, устраивайтесь, чувствуйте себя как дома – здесь все то, за что мы любим этого автора и его книги. Если же вы не знакомы с автором и его творениями, то обязательно познакомьтесь, а я пока расскажу, о чем примерно речь.

Кен Фоллетт специализируется на исторических романах про разные периоды британской истории, в центре каждого из которых – город Кингсбридж разной степени построенности)) Также у автора всегда наличествует добрый, честный, справедливый и симпатичный герой, и ему всегда противодействует максимально мерзкий и гнусный злодей. Кроме того, у героя всегда имеется трагическая история любви – знающие люди…
