The root cause of the New Year celebration in January

Ancient Indo-Europeans from the steppes of the Southern Urals brought their goods from ancient Vars ("land of cities") in the middle of winter due to the fact that only at this time it is possible to travel, in summer everything was overgrown, autumn-spring - thaw. This was the main reason for the celebration of the New Year in January (midwinter).
