О премии

Литературная премия Святого Франциска - американская награда для авторов, которые недавно опубликовали свои третьи-пятые художественные произведения.
Премия призвана предложить поощрение и значительную финансовую поддержку писателю среднего возраста.

Награда была открыта в 2009 году. Спонсируется колледжем Святого Франциска.

Победителя определяет специальное жюри.

Лауреат получает $ 50 000 и приглашается для выступления в Колледж Святого Франциска в Бруклине, Нью-Йорк.

Премия вручается в сентябре каждые два года во время Бруклинского книжного фестиваля.

Организаторы премии объявили, что в 2021 году награда присуждаться не будет из-за пандемии Ковид-19.
